These are pictures from 3 weeks ago that we stumbled across on Troy's phone. Carly and Daddy went for an afternoon walk in a local nature preserve and had a great time. Carly loved talking about the cycle of forest life that she had learned about on her nature walks at school. Carly also spotted two Whitetail deer in the woods. She claims to have "magic eyes."

She looks like she's ready to hit the mall after her hike in that outfit! :) I love the picture of her hugging the tree. Wouldn't it be hilarious if she grew up to conservation officer? Actually, it would be even MORE hilarious if she grew up to be a lumberjack! :)
Heck maybe she'll marry that hot guy who cut down your tree? What am I saying...maybe he'll have a son she can marry :) Two treehuggers together.
