Happy Halloween!

The weather was so nice for Halloween this year it was around 60! Carly even got to wear her flip-flops. We had a great time trick-or-treating around the neighborhood with our friends! The kids were so excited that we never got the whole crew together for a photo-op. We did manage to get nearly all of them included in at least one picture below, except Laney - sorry Laney, we'll get some pictures from your parents to add later!

Here we are...on a beautiful Halloween evening...and Carly & Jack are ready to go! Pull us Dad!

Carly is an East High School cheerleader (from High School Musical) - you should see her dance moves! Note: the Flip-flops

Jack is ready to defend the neighborhood, trick-or-treating, and the universe!

Super-cute Super Baby!!!

Carly and her friends Giraffe (Ella) and Sleeping Beauty (Reese) take a brief moment out of trick-or-treating to have their picture taken.

The cheerleader and the princess.
Carly's cheerleader costume was actually Reese's last year - thanks for sharing Reese!

Jack and Raggedy-Ann (Maureen) sharing a wagon ride. Jack looks a little suspicious of this new passenger - is she a friend or a candy-stealing super-villian? A friend, of course!

Funny story behind this picture. Jack got out of the wagon to go beg - I mean trick-or-treat - for candy at a house. Carly went with him and Mom and Dad proceeded to forget about them. We were a couple houses away before one of our friends asked, "Where are Jack and Carly?" We turned around to see Carly running to catch up, and Jack was still back at the first house getting candy! Thankfully Kristi, the stylish pirate, rescued him for us! For the record, the sword wasn't originally part of her costume - Ryan discarded it early in the evening.

Speaking of the swordless pirate, Ryan is showing Jack the ropes..."Sewiously, you jus' ask and dey give you candy!" Alternatively, he could be saying, "Hey, dat my costume!" Yes, Jack is wearing the costume Ryan wore last year. We are officially Halloween mooches!

Well, Halloween IS the time to be moochers since the kids all go and mooch candy off of the neighbors! :) We're glad that you could get a little usage out of the costumes. Start talking up the pirate and Sleeping Beauty now, okay?

Great pictures!
